Sad News-Susan K Moore CWSA Chair

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Susan Moore, who passed away at George Eliot Hospital on 19th July 2026, a much loved and adored Wife, Mum, Nana, Sister, Auntie and friend to many, she will be dearly missed.
 
Susan had deep love for the Village she called home and was a familiar and cherished face within the community, attending many groups and making lifelong friends, she leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship and countless happy memories.
 
As you must know Susan's death is a huge loss for those who knew her personally and for CWSA members. Susan worked tirelessly and selflessly on behalf of all our Society and managed to significantly raise the profile of CWSA and its role in the local arts scene. She brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the task and will be sorely missed by all.

A Funeral service will take place on Monday 24th August 2026, 1pm at St Marys & All Saints Church, Fillongley followed by a private Burial, all family and friends are welcome to the Church Hall for tea and cake and to share further memories of Susan following the Church service.
